Tier 2 Change of Employment - Urgent Advice Needed

Post by ahamad17 » Thu Jul 24, 2014 11:08 am

Hello Guys, I am currently in Tier 2 but my current Employer sponsorship has been cancelled and I got the curtailment. I made the premium service application with the new employer but my visa got refused because the RLMT detail was not included in the COS. My employer request the new cos and assign me the new cos with the RLMT details (28 days job advertisement details)
I am sending the application in priority service now. But in the new COS on the top it says Tier 2 (General Switching migrant category) instead of Tier 2 (General - Change of employment). I mentioned this to my employer and he mentioned in the sponsor notes that "Applicant is currently in Tier 2 and changing the employer". Will it be a big issue? I am very much worried. I don't want to get my application refused again due to this. Please reply ASAP. Thanks.

Hello Guys
I have made my second application via priority postal service
posted the application on 24/07/2014
My visa expired on 26/07/2014
Biometric received on 31/07/2014
Received the refusal letter on 07/08/2014

I have received the refusal letter again :( and this time they gave me the rights to appeal. It is mentioned in the letter the Appeal should be done within 10 days. I am going to appeal by coming week. Finger crossed whether I win the appeal or not. I have read in this forum that If I lost the appeal then I can still make the fresh application within 28 days from the appeal decision date. Am I right? My question is whether making such out time application will affect my ILR status in the future? Need your help and advice guys. Thanks

Just today I went to the solicitor office and I have seen my refusal letter. They mentioned the appropriate salary has not been met. The salary is 23000. Point has been awarded in my first application but points was not awarded for the COS since RLMT detail was not included. But in this refusal letter they have mentioned that I have not meet the appropriate salary it should be 30,600 (but it is the salary for the experienced worker). I am appealing. I think this is the fault from the UKBA side.
