UK spouse visa online application

Hi,

My fiance is a Pakistani national. I am a British Citizen. We are getting married in November. We are planning on submitting the application for UK spouse visa after the wedding.

We are not sure which option to select on the first page of the online visa form for "type of visa".

We have selected "Settlement" and then have options such as "Wife, Husband, Marriage".

When my wife applies, does she need to select Wife or Marriage ?

Also, she is still to take the English test - is it possible to submit the application before our wedding to speed up the process?

select Tier 2 General and then Tier 2 General partner

Why do you say Tier 2?

Why would he select tier 2 general? It should be settlement,what you've chosen is fine.
She needs to select wife
If you submit application b4 wedding,how then can you say you're married?or what evidence would you present in form of marriage certificate?
That might be impossible except you have something else in mind.

Why do you say Tier 2?
because I didn't read the OP's post properly, overlooked that he was a British citizen and assumed that he was a T2 migrant and she would then be a PBS dependant
