Working and not working as an EU citizen

Hi,

I am a British Citizen and my partner is coming to live with me in England from Denmark (Danish Citizen with a Danish passport). I am having trouble finding this information anywhere, so here goes:

When my partner comes over does she HAVE to have a job while living here or am I able to support her? (Main reason is we have two small children under two and she needs to help them settle before getting back into full work mode)

If she does need a job, what's the minimum wage / hours required to meet the "Support Yourself" criteria and maybe someone could explain to me what the whole "Support Yourself" means in detail!

I have my own business, so another option would be that I employ her and pay her a wage - is this also allowed? No fraud or anything intended, I just want to make sure I get it right so there is no risk of her being kicked out of the country.

EU citizens are free to live, work, study, marry anywhere in the EU....

She will not be required to live, but if she has medical insurance and you can show that you have sufficient resource to maintain her, then she will be fine.

There is a concession in the case of A 2 nationals married to British Citizens to be issued a Registration Certificate.

I am sure this will apply to her also. Notwithstanding the fact that she is not an A 2:national.

I am confident she will not be removed.
