How soon i can apply the Tier 1 dependent extension?

My wife Tier 1 dependent visa is expiring in Sep 1st week. How soon i can apply for renewal?

I heard, now application filling process for Tier 1 dependent extension is complete online? if not which application form i need to fill, please advise.

It would be best to apply within 28 days before expiry to avoid a gap which might need a further extension later on to meet the 5 years residence.

How long has she been in the UK? What are the visa start and end dates and what date did she enter the UK?

She will also have to pay the IHS Surcharge of £200 per year upfront. So if a 3 year extension it is £600. IHS Surcharge (Click)

Entered in uk 3rd week of Oct 2012.
Had a one extension on Sep 13 (At time of my ILR)
Expiring on first week of Sep 15.

She is planning for india trip, so we want to apply for visa extension earlier. Kindly advise IHS Surcharge is applicable to my dependent or not?

When is she planning on traveling to India? Are you applying for her extension in person as premium centre?

You can apply earlier, but she might then need another extension to make up the shortfall for the 5 years residence if she is not granted an extension for 3 years.

Yes, she will have to pay the IHS surcharge.
