Yes! Unfortunately the passport was stamped and I really was not in the mood to argue as WizzAir's insistence on getting delayed was playing on my last nerve.

Might even try entry to Bulgaria if time permits, but this place just so gorgeous, albeit forbidenly expensive since my last visit, that I may not get to it. But if I do,....

just comeback from zante for a week using a french embasy issued schengen visa. no questioned asked if i had been to france

unfortunatley it was stamped and i could not be bothered arguing as the queue was about 2 mile long when we arrived in zante, was also stamped on way out again this time the IO looked at my passport for about 5-7 min and stamped it.

when i arrived in manchester this morning(12.20 am) me and an american passport holder was on the other queue and i was buzzing as the eu queue was way too looooooong. but the UK IO asked about my previous visa and i had to exlplain i overstayed before getting myself sorted with my spouse visa.

she pissed me off y asking how come i overstayed and i told her personal reasons. she asked if i was travelling with my wife and i said yes she is on the EU queue and asked to point to her.

the IO then said to me ur history will be on the system for a while and i said i know and my ppt was stamped and waited 25 mins for my wife to come through.

I once was asked by an immigration official at Heathrow if I was travelling with my wife, and I said yes but she had zoomed through the efficient EU queue. The immigration officer said that in future it would be ok for me to join her in the EU queue. Have not tried that yet.

You have the best of both worlds. You can both use the EU line, or you can both use the non-EU line. Choose whichever is shorter!
