You only need to complete this section if:
(i) You qualify for an exemption from meeting the income threshold element of the financial requirement.
(ii) You were granted leave to enter or remain as a partner under Chapter 8 of the Immigration Rules following an application submitted before 9 July 2012.
You must provide evidence that your partner is able to adequately maintain you and any dependants in the United Kingdom without recourse to public funds.
All applicants must provide specified evidence set out in Appendix FM-SE of the Immigration Rules unless they have had leave under Part 8 of the Immigration Rules before 9 July 2012 (excluding those applicants whose last leave was as the partner of a Relevant PBS migrant). My Wife received approval as a Tier 2 General Dependent on 2nd July 2012, She travelled to UK on 29 July 2012. I am not sure if we have or do not have to fill in Section 7B ? - as she was a points based system visa dependent.. Any help would be really appreciated.

Congratulations on your approval!. I just wanted to ask you about your timeline, like I'm asking others here. It says on your timeline that you found out your visa was granted on the 10th of June. How did they let you know? Did they email you, call you or send you a letter? Most people say they suddenly received the BRP/Passport/Documents without any notification that it had been approved beforehand.
Hope you are doing well! Thank you!
Oh, OK. I was hoping they would notify us beforehand to make sure we are home to receive it. Thank you for your reply!meb4ne1 wrote:

Hello Geeebaby,
Could you please let me know when should i apply for FLR(M) exactly. My 33 months spuse visa expires on November. Is it ok to apply on August or should I wait till I complete 30 months in the UK.
Thanks
Oh no! I just sent off the docs for my husbands application and I think we missed this in the many readings of rules.parasiteslost wrote: You have to wait 28 days before completing 30 months:
Appendix FM Section 1.0a given to decision makers states "They should make that application no more than 28 days before their extant leave is due to expire, or no more than 28 days before they have completed 30 months in the UK with such leave."
Thanks!Saifeddine123 wrote:Chckens40
