EEA Family Permit

Hi, me and my husband are going for xmas to visit his family in the UK and coming back to Vancouver after since here is where we live. Since I'm a dominican national (and a canadian resident) I need a visa to enter the UK. But I saw the EEA Family Permit online which is free.

So I want to know if someone here uses this permit just for visitors purposes and if they have done it through the Ottawa office since I need to know how long does it take to get it since we leave next month.

Doesn't apply to ur situation. EEA FP applies only to Family Members of EEA Citizens living/studying etc in another EEA State.

You should apply for a UK visitors visa at the nearest DR consulate.
