Tier 2 ICT to any other work permit type

I'm on a Tier 2 ICT work permit since 2014. So just curious about changing the VISA type to any other work permit type. If anyone can help passing information will be much appreciated.

12 month cooling off... assuming you are on an ICT long term. You could transfer from ICT short term to long term. Any other change would need a 12 month cooling off unless you make over £155k.

Thanks for the reply. If someone is ready to sponsor me, can I just change the sponsorship? Or can I switch to Tier 2 General under that sponsorship?

12-months cooling off apply either way, unless you're paid more than £155k per annum.

Yes, that applies only if you're switching within Tier-2 sub-categories (ICT, General) (where all the work-permits fall under) ...

Yes, but i don't know you've read through the eligibility criteria: It says
"Eligibility
You must already be in the UK under any of the following visas or schemes:

Tier 1 visa
Tier 2 (Sportsperson) visa
Tier 2 (Minister of religion) visa
Tier 2 (Intra company Transfer: established staff) visa and you’re applying to change sponsor
Tier 2 (Intra company Transfer) visa under the Immigration Rules in place before 6 April 2010 and you’re applying to change sponsor .... "

It's applicable ONLY, if you're Tier 2 ICT visa was issued before 2011. Rules have changed since April 2011 and your T2 ICT visa issued in 2014 falls under the new visa rules, in which the cooling off periods apply for switching into Tier 2 sub-categories. Hope, it's clear to you now !

What is possible if u earn more than £158k annually. Can u then apply for conversion to tier 2 general without cooling off. Also does that need to be from home country or can be uk
