VISA FOR DEPENDENT - ILR

Post by zakuta » Sun Mar 29, 2015 3:04 pm

I am on ILR for the last year and now I am in Pakistan and had a baby. I am wondering what visa I need to apply and which form to use? My wife is also on dependent visa and her ILR is due next year. Any help will be greatly appreciated.

Thanks

You child will have visa in line with your wife, depending on the route she qualified for leave under.

ILR - Stayed more than a year outside UK

Post by zakuta » Tue Oct 20, 2015 9:57 am

Hello

I am on ILR and my wife ILR is due next year but she has been away from UK for the last one year due to some solid reasons. I understand that she can't spend more than 3 months in the last year before ILR. As the situation stands she has been away and I am wondering what are my options. Shall I still apply for an ILR and explain the situation or what kind of a visa I need to apply for her to be eligible again for ILR. Is it an extension of the settlement visa or a new settlement visa? I am a bit confused.

Please advise? Many Thanks (It is a bit urgent)

That's probably a misunderstanding.

By the time she will apply for her ILR, she would have spend more time outside UK. So I am wondering what do I need to do?

Thanks,

Ask her to spend more time in the UK prior to applying for ILR.
