Furniture help

Hi

Am currently single parent, i receive child benefit, child tac credi and income support. Am currently in hostel amd bidding for house. I still dont have my own house as.i am still waiting but i heard once i get a house i can.get some amount of money to buy the thing i need for my house. This is true if is how can i apply for it

You need to apply through your local Council. There is no guarantee that you will get help, it depends on various things.

What is your immigration status in the UK?

@casa, just looked back now, much to my annoyance (again). OP best placed to contact council, although they are really tightening up on giving away money/vouchers etc, given that things are so cheap in charity shops and of course you can get them for free on Freecycle. And, it is a loan of sorts (in vouchers/coupons) and has to be paid back as far as I am aware.
