Tier 2 Salary

Post by nasmc92 » Thu Nov 19, 2015 3:23 pm

Hello Guys,

Please advise

I have my Tier 2 from Oct 2013 until Nov 2016

at time of applying I started taking 23,600 and right now I am taking 24,400.
does this matter ? because right now current rate is above 25000 and experienced is above 31000

I know at time of extension I should be paid as per the experience rate but I am just concerned about the current situation / time

I have read somewhere that your current salary should be as per current SOC which I have not

SOC 2015 for 2124
new entrant above 25000 and I am getting 24,400
I am not sure does this matter at the minute because I got approval as per 2013 SOC until nov 2016

You must have satisfied the salary requirement which was £23,600 for 2124 job code during 2013 as new entrant - your visa was approved based on this.

Doesn’t matter what you get now, But it shouldn’t go under £23,600

At the time of your extension application you must satisfy again with corresponding salary requirement at that time (Extension application will be classed as Experienced worker)

Hope this helps
