Quick question about Biometrics for BC

Post by Teedot » Tue Dec 01, 2015 4:33 am

Hi all, I just have a very quick question in regards to the biometrics involved in the BC application.

So my wife got her ILR in Sept 2014 and did her biometrics then, she was granted a BRP and she will be submitting that BRP with this BC application.

So my question is, will she still be required to do biometrics again for this BC even though she has already done it last year for her successful LTR? Or will sending the BRP suffice?

Also, if she is required to do it again, will they just write to us with a request for it after they've received the BC application??

Any feedback and advice is greatly appreciated, thank you in advance!

Thank you for your reply! Just one more quick question,

I will be using a citizenship checking service in my local area to process the application rather than posting it ourselves, therefore how will they contact me for my wifes biometrics?

Will they contact me via writing to my home address or will they contact the citizenship service centre?

Thank you!
