LR ILR delay, tax issues - Options for me and dependants

I want to seek the member of the forum opinion, I applied for 10 years routes used PEO in August 2015, I used HSMP to extend my stay and visa and my dependent is going to expiry in May 2015. after waiting for 1 hour the caseworker gave me a letter to attended interview and i should come with my working history for 10 years. i was surprise. I attended the interview and the caseworker point it out that their is different in amount of my self employee initial financial account declared on 2009 presented to HO and my tax return in April 2010, The initial financial statement shows that the profit in 2009 is closer to the income I declared in April 2010, my reason was that internal and external factors after the business during the period. The caseworker gave me another letter that my account should explain what happen before they made fully consideration of my application.
My accountant had replied them since three months we have not had from the HO, am wife visa is going to expiry in May and I have daughter born in uk she is 7 years but we have took her out for a year out of the country.
what to do in case the delay is prolong, can my wife applied through FLR(M) or Family route
what other categories i can applied for if there out come against me
