I am wondering about investing 200k during 3 years, my business account shows:
Money In = 500,000 GBP (200,000GBP initially + 300,000GBP from orders during three years).
Money Out= 290,000 GBP (60,000 GBP Expenses +230,000 GBP from orders)
Balance in the account =210,000 GBP
Regarding orders (above): I bought materials for 230,000GBP and I sold it for 300,000GBP.
Please advise me, and I want to know if I invested the 200K or not?
Kind Regards
Dear jafersadeq,
From what you are saying it seems to me that your 3 years visa as entrepreneur is coming to an end and you are not sure to have invested 200k within the 3 years time. When it comes to investment, the Home Office will look at how much you put in to the UK, and not how much earned from it.
If you have invested 230k you are certainly within the rules. However, if your concern is related to an extension under this route you may want to know that this is not the only requirement needed.
Are you the director or self-employed of the company? If so, did this happen long after your visa was granted? Have you created at least 2 full time jobs that have existed for at least 12 months?
Kind Regards,
