No longer together Spouse Visa

Post by DRS1983 » Tue Jan 12, 2016 8:17 pm

Hi Unfortunately I married a Pakistani national who after 1 year of obtaining his spouse permit decided he would just like to be friends and was giving me a religious divorce. I booted him and reported to the HO. They have his details entered for the airports so he will be most like refused entry as a spouse......... However I suspect he is still here for a few months working. I have written to the curtailment team. If I am to give them his work address what would be the process and how long would this take? I assume it would be a deportation order as the relationship is no longer subsisting?
Thanks all

See below link for the new process. Provide as much detail as you can.

https://www.gov.uk/government/publicati ... nsent-form

Your only responsibility is to inform HO. What they do after that is not communicated to you.

Your religious divorce will not be recognised in the UK if it was done in the UK. You need to divorce through the courts to get a decree absolute otherwise any future marriage will not be recognised.
