Get my passport back for renewal

Hi all respected member,

I have very important query to ask basically my entrepreneur application was refused after which my case went into appeal and now I have permission to appeal in Feb,2016. During this time period my employer agrees to issue me COS letter to submit a new application as you can tell according to my case my passport and documents are in home office from last three years it expired in Dec 2015 now my employer when he try to issue me COS he is stuck as you need expiry date of passport options for which are available now from 2016
Is there any way I can ask for my passport back for renewal and how long will it take??
Or is there any other way out from this situation?

You will not get your passport back. In simple terms until you get a positive decision with your appeal the HO will not return it.
Suggest you apply for a new passport from your Embessay or High Commision because that is really the only way forward

Hi frontier mole,

Thanks for your precious opinion I'm trying to get new passport from high commission but they are not very co operative people hope I will get passport somehow.
