Tier 1 requirements when Tier 2 is current for ILR

Post by Ilr_in_2016 » Tue Feb 23, 2016 10:54 pm

Dear Members

I am on current Tier2 General for the last 3 years since 2013 and Tier 1 General for 2 years since 2011, completing my five years in April.

The Tier 2 Policy guidance for ILR reads as follows:
https://www.gov.uk/government/uploads/s ... 1_2015.pdf

276. Where your period of continuous leave includes time in routes other than Tier 2 (from the list of allowable routes stated above), you would also need to provide details to show that you met the relevant requirements of those Rules while in those categories. More information can be found in the SET(O) application form.

What should I provide to show that I met the relevant requirements for Tier 1?

I do appreciate your help.

Thanks, ILR_Sara

You could provide salary slips & bank statements for the period you were on Tier 1, if you were employed. Income tax returns if you were self employed. Best is to get a employment history letter from HMRC.
Hope this helps. All the best for your application!

New Fee from 18th March and Bookings Made Before That

Post by Ilr_in_2016 » Sat Mar 19, 2016 8:06 am

Dear Friends,

on February 25th of 2016, I made a premium appointment booking for ILR settlement application interview for March 30th and have paid £5700 for 1 main and 2 dependants. Now that the new visa fees in place from yesterday the 18th of March, Would I need to pay the new fee of £7125 when I go for the premium interview on 30th March ? Also the application form has now changed from yesterday to reflect just the changed date and the money :-). My question is Would I be asked to pay the difference of £1425 on the day and use the new form for my application ?

Thanks for the assistance and clarification. MAISARAN

Dependants applying sametime have separate appln form ???

Post by Ilr_in_2016 » Sat Mar 19, 2016 9:09 am

Looked at the forum and could not find recent posts on this subject.

I am applying for ILR and my spouse and child are applying with me at the same time.

Should I fill out individual forms ? Or They are covered in my application forms.

Thank you for your help. MaiSaran

Your partner and children under 18 can apply on the same form as you if they’re eligible.

I think the moderator has clubbed my queries...but the subject is different. Could someone please answer my question above ? Should I pay the additional fee and use the new application fee ? The timing of the applicable new fees is really confusing. Thanks for your time on this.
