USA EC - Biometrics

Just finished filling out my online EC form from the USA. This was what I got at the end:

Your visa application does not require you to submit your biometrics as part of your application. However, you must still deliver your printed application, supporting documents, and the appropriate fee to the address shown below. Your application will not be accepted at any other visa office location. Failure to submit documents to the address shown below will result in a delay and/or lead to the refusal of your application:


Ummmmmm..... what happened to biometrics?!

Please go through the link below. It specifically mention that "there also exist certain categories of people that are subject to immigration control but are not required to provide their biometric data"

Please check if you come into that category.

very weird! i do not fit into any of the categories mentioned on the site. i just went ahead and sent the entry clearance forms without the biometrics -- just following what it said. hope it all works out!
