I'm a brazillian guy so I don't need a visa, checking the government website. I'm arriving at Birmingham next week, and I'm super nervous because of the immigration officer. I'm going to visit my girlfriend for 17 days, which has a tier 4 visa valid until september. I'll take with me a invitation letter from her to show that I'll stay at her place and a plane ticket for my return already bought. I also have an old passport with a VST visa from 2010, when I took a 2 weeks course at Cambridge, UK.
But there is a problem. I've just graduated (august 2015) and I'm still unemployed. That's because I'm mostly studying by myself for two things: 1) to get a master degree at my field, I need to pass an super difficult national exam. 2) to get a public employment, which in Brazil you need to pass an specific exam/test for that.
So, I'm not able to show any institutional bond to prove my return. I'm still living with my parents. About bringing some proofs about the exams: The exam for my master degree only start the registrations at september. The others exams is super unreliable.
I'm mostly paying the trip with savings from my internship and receiving financial support from my father (i'm bringing his proof of earnings, my international credit card and £100). I'm afraid that it will be a problem for the immigration officer to get a tourism/visitor visa. I really don't have any intention to overstay. I actually have and exam one week after my comeback. (I can't get a registration confirmation until 5 days before the exam day) What should I do to help endorse that?
Any help would be apreciated. I'm actually super afraid.
