Time for increasing allocation for Tier-2 general

Dear all,

My company has made an application for increasing allocation in a second week of January-2016.
we have also submitted require documents to justify the reason for increasing allocation.

I called home office for the general information they said it can take 18 week for the result.

could you please write your views if anyone has made an application for the same in recent time.

will they give decision over the phone.

the employer helpline doesn't give decisions but they may be able to find out the status of the allocation request. Ask the person who called them about what s/he found out.

overall, it is the same process like SMS.My employer can also check by SMS.

I will inform you once i will inform by my employer.

As per my view we will get decision by the end of 5th april.

My employer called and they are still saying that you have to wait and watch.

18 week is finishing in the end of this month.
what will be the situation.
are they considering application early whose visa expiry nearly?
