Tier 2 ICT Long term staff partner , eligible to work or not

Hi,
I have entered UK on Tier2 ICT Long term staff partner visa. I got VISA for 6 months as my partner's COS is ending in 6 months. Since my VISA is for 6 months I will not get BRP card. Will I be still allowed to work in UK till my visa is valid?
Please help in finding the answer.

Yes, you are still eligible to work until your visa end date (except as a doctor or nurse which would be mentioned on your visa).

Hi - I am in same situation. Only 6 months approved visa but no BRP card issued. Can I apply for extension without BRP card along with my husband?

Kindly start your own topic rather tag onto one that is almost a year old. You do NOT need a BRP to apply for an extension.
