HSMP FLR ( AGE QUERY)

Post by Kanna » Mon Feb 18, 2008 1:47 pm

Hi all,
I've got a query regarding the points calculation based on AGE.
I got an initial hsmp for 2 years 2006 - 2008.

I would be applying for HSMP Extension under the new Tier1 system.I would be 31yrs.Please could you clarify how many points I would score in the age section. I did read the statement of changes in immigration rules document but am still confused.

Please could someone clarify.

Thanks

Hello all,
I have an Initial HSMP EC stamped in my passport.

My basic doubt is would I be considered as a generail TIER Applicatant for leave to remain, where I score 5 points for 31

OR

Applications for leave to remain where an
applicant has, or last had, leave as a Highly
Skilled Migrant, where I score 10 points for being 31.

Reference Appendix A , Table 4 of the Statement of Immigration Changes.

PLEASE PLEASE HELP...

I think less then 32 age you will get 10 points, let senior members may also reply.

Points for age

Post by Jabi » Tue Feb 19, 2008 10:39 am

Hi all,

I'm in the doubt and a bit confused about the points for age too.

I've read the Annex C of the HSMP statement of intent, and on page 14.

It's written that "a. Points for age awarded on entry will be carried forward under the extension test."

I was 28yo in the date of my initial application (20 points).
Am I right if I say that when I apply for extension I should be given the same 20 points although I'll be 30yo then?

Please comment!! :)
