APPLYING FOR EEA PERMANENT RESIDENCY

I have a question to ask and would really appreciate your reply.

This is my case:

My wife want to apply for EU permanent residency in March 2017. She is an EU citizen (Polish). From March 2012, she has been working part-time. From September 2016 she will start NHS FUNDED study and she will be getting bursary from the NHS.

My Question is:

Does she have to keep her job till march 2017 to apply for permanent residency OR work and then studying from sept 2016 to March 2017 can be counted toward this 5 years. If yes, does she need CSI? or what do you think she can do?

An EEA national can mix work & study to acquire PR.

As a student your wife will need CSI cover in place for herself & any dependents (including you if you are a non-EEA spouse).

Pls I have a question to ask. For an EEA national to exercise treaty right as a worker what is the minimum number of hours the eea national worker shoulder be working per week? And is there any salary threshold?

My situation is such that my wife who is a polish national has been working continuosly for five years but she is only doing six hours a week and is earning less than the minimum earning threshold. Do you think she can apply for permanent residency or is it better to apply for a new 5 years residence certificate?
