Second Temporary Work Permit

I received a temporary work permit from Sept. 2003 to Sept. 2004 via a US company with a site in France. I stopped working with this company and decided to study at the Sorbonne with a 4 month student visa. This is now finished and I am now interested in acquiring another temporary work permit to work in France from a new company in the US. I am wondering if my previous work and students visas will affect my chances for receiving a second work permit?

I understand this is a bit complicated, but I hope someone can help!!
