Get an earlier premium appointment

Dear all,
I am applying for tier 2 pbs dependant visa extension. I have submitted the online form and paid for premium service, but the earliest I could book is the 4th of September... I want to apply earlier as I will have to travel on the 7th
- do you please have any tips to get an earlier slot?
- is it ok if i apply when i get back on the 23rd of september, knowing that my current visa expires on the 15th of october?

Keep trying. No special tricks, you just have to keep looking for slots.

You can apply at anytime up to and including the expiry date of your visa. No issue in traveling.

You can apply at anytime up to and including the expiry date of your visa. No issue in traveling.

Thank you so much for your swift reply I will book an appointment after my return, and just keep checking the slots in case something comes up in August.

Dear Cr001 Please one more thing, if I keep the appointment on 4th of september, would I be able to travel on the 7th and return on 22nd of september using the old BRP (which is technically valud til mid october).
Also if the new BRP arrives when I am away, how long would I have to return the old one?
