ILR - is there an offline / paper form?

Post by bronwynw » Sat Jan 26, 2019 1:11 am

Hi,

I would like to be able to see what questions I am going to be asked in the IRL form and what documents I need so I can collect all the info prior to filling in and submitting the online form.

But have been unable to find a paper form on the govt website. Does anyone have a link to the paper form?

Also am I right in thinking I can take my life in the UK test in advance of filling in the IRL form and applying for leave to remain?

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Regards
Bronny

The online form is pretty simple and straight forward and asks relevant question to your particular category and situation. You can run a dummy application. Literally it takes 10-15 min so you are aware of all the questions. Also, the online form gives a checklist of all the documents needed at the end. However, make sure to read guidance related to your particular category.

Obviously you have to take your life in UK before you apply. You can start filling your online application at any point in time but make sure you pay and submit the application when you are in the qualifying period (upto 28 days before you are eligible for ILR).
