Naturalisation if married to a dual EEA/British citizen

Good morning,

I would like to ask for some advice, please. I am an EEA citizen and my wife is from outside the EEA. She holds a permanent residence card with the remark on the card: "residence card of a family member of a union citizen" and "EU right to reside".
I have had my naturalization application approved and I will attend the ceremony soon and will become a BC.

If my wife applies for BC after I will have become a BC, does she need to provide evidence of residency and travel dates for 3 years or 5 years?

I know it's usually 3 years for a spouse of a BC and they can apply straight away after they got ILR but I am confused as my wife hasn't got ILR (as I wasn't British at the time when she applied a year ago), she has got a permanent residence card with the above wording.
Does this mean her application will be automatically considered under the route of being married to an EEA citizen as opposed to a British Citizen?

Can you confirm that the card has the words 'PERMANENT RESIDENCE' under TYPE OF PERMIT?

If she does, she can apply for citizenship after you have received your naturalisation certificate. She will have to provide proof that she actually resided in UK over the last 3 years. The immigration stamps on her passport would suffice in that regards.

Yes. It says permanent residence. Thanks for your help. I thought he would have had to apply for ILR (not for residence card under EU law) if she wanted to take the 3 year route.

Thank you. And one more thing... I'm not planning to apply for a British passport after naturalisation. Are the following documents acceptable for my wife to provide to support her application taking the 3 year route?

Marriage certificate for proof of relationship
My EU passport for proof of my identity
My British naturalisation certificate for proof of my nationality

Your online application will give you a full list of supporting documents.

Your marriage certificate will be one of them. Your EU passport won’t be needed. I can’t 100% confirm if your naturalisation certificate will suffice as proof of citizenship (I expect it is).

Your certificate of naturalisation is what confirms your citizenship status.
