Apply EEA Residence Card (Sponsor: Pre Settled)

Post by nalb_2019 » Wed Feb 06, 2019 11:44 am

Hello everyone

My wife (Non EU passport) arrived in UK on 7th January on EEA family permit and her family permit expired on 14th January. Me and our son (EU passports) both have got pre settled status now. any body please suggest me what should i do now. Either apply for EEA residence card for my wife or just wait until settlement scheme fully opens in March 2019.

Thanks

You can apply for pre-settled now - the system is in public beta.

Yes. I applied for it for myself and for my son, Pre settled status granted to both of us. but my wife does not have BRP so we cannot apply for her in beta. Her family permit expired on 14th january. now I need advice if i should apply for her residence card now or wait till scheme fully opens.
