Do remember that you would be calculating absences in the 365 days prior to your date of submission. As replied by alterhase, maybe delay it by 2-3 weeks and you will be in the clear (unless there are absences at the beginning of the 365 day period). Plus don't forget - you must have been in the country on the same date as your application, 5 years ago - in case you delay your application to meet number of days.
Family, job, bank balances, maybe a private pension and if possible, rental contract - all these are sufficient proof of establishing home and sufficient part of your estate in the UK.julitabrz wrote: ↑Tue Feb 12, 2019 6:51 pmDoes anyone think this is can be taken in consideration as a good proof by HO to disregard this absance?
One more question, what exactly means" established home and a substantial part of
your estate"? I have family here, job but I only rent a flat and do not own any property. Does it mean that I would need to have my own property?
Thanks
No, HO usually disregard absence in the final 12 months up to 100/110 days.I want to apply for British Citizenship and had 100 days exactly outside of UK last year. Do I have to ask for discretion or it should be disregarded.
No. Once you are British you are free to leave the UK if you wish to.One of the requirements is to intend to live in the UK. Of course I do not have plans to move out to any other country, however life is full of surprises so what would happen if I move somewhere else in about few years?
Do I have to contact HO then and provide such info that I am leaving UK, what are the consequences?

No, property ownership as you may have noted, has become a luxury in the UK.
