Unmarried or Married British Citizen

I have always had useful information & advice from all. I have couple of questions and would appreciate if i can get some advice again. Please review my immigration history.
I am EU national originally.
I am BC citizen now since June 2018 (Dual National Now EU & BC)
I have been in UK since 2007.
I had my non EU partner , who applied for Residence Card in 2011 on basis of Unmarried Partners and was successful and he got residence card with 5 Years Family Member.
He then applied for ILR on long residence category in 2015 ( 2004 - 2011 UK immigration , Student + PSW + 3.6 Years EU family member) and had his ILR granted.
He then applied for BC in 2016 and was successful.
Our relationship has finished 1 year ago.
Que - 1 - I have applied for Student Loan and claimed I am single but SLF accusing me that I am not single as I have made marriage Visa application in 2011 and they have requested me lot of information , in fact all my immigration history , address history and all applications made to HO etc as they said got information from HO.
I dont know why I am married , I was never married and Do my EX non EU partner had to inform HO about relationship had ended.
I am really confused and stressed and would need some advice please.

did you inform the HO about the end of relationship with your partner?? or did you took your sponsorship back when ILR given to the partner??

if not then obviously in records you are still in long relationship akin to marriage or civil partnership.

Thanks for your reply and time.
Our relationship ended after he got his BC , do I suppose to inform HO still?
And my PR was solely on exercising treaty rights without any dependent in my application as well for BC.
As we were unmarried partners with no legal binding , may be I am not clear about unmarried visa application he made initially.

Our relationship ended after he got his BC , do I suppose to inform HO still?

To get specific details about yourself I guess you should submit a Subject Access Request it would hold whatever information's UKVI holds about you and there you can see the exact application your ex made using your personal details.

Thanks mamalicious for your time and advice. I will certainly request SAR from UKVI. But what is the general understanding of un married partners , am I or him legally bind to inform HO after the independent immigration status has been granted like both are BC and ILR and PR has been acquired prior when relationship was still active. Thanks

My understanding is that when the application for Citizenship by Naturalisaton was made you were named on it (I guess) although he is independent now but he must have stated he was still in a relationship with you (unmarried or married) on that application so if no one has disclosed to the UKVI office then the informations on their database would still read that there is a relationship between you two.

There is not a legal requirement for him to notify them as his immigration status no longer depends on you however, the right thing to do was to notify them.

There was no mention of my details in his BC application and he declared himself as a single in martial status which I believe was correct.
I think Student Finance is mixing up with his or my application , he was the main applicant as a non EU partner and I was his sponsor back in 2011. He had his 5 years residence card and I had been issued regisreration card too at the same time on basis of exercising treaty rights as a student that time. Thanks
