Passport requirements

Hi all,

New poster looking for a bit of help!!

My wife is from the US (I'm English) and is due to renew her spouse visa at the end of April. She will have completed her first 2.5 years and is applying for further leave to remain

I can't see anything that specifies how long your passport must be valid for, only that it must be a valid passport. Her US passport expires in September this year and want to be sure that's acceptable

Any help is much appreciated!

It must be valid at the time of application.

No requirement for it to be valid for x number of months.
