7 Years Children flr fp success story

My friend applied for Flr fp visa along with his wife and 2 children. Both children born abroad. One was 4 when entered the uk and the other was 2.5 years old. Both children completed 7.5 years in the UK on the date of application.

Time line is
Flr fp Applied: 10 Nov 18
Biometric received 25 Nov 18
Biometric done: 30 Nov 18
Approval letter: 20 March 19.

Parents never overstayed. Visa granted under paragraph GEN 3.2 of Appendix fm (exceptional circumstances). They have 2 kids who completed 7 years in the uk and it would be unreasonable to expect them to leave the UK.
Parent route and partner route requirement not met as they live part of a family unit and none of the parents are british or settled.
