Out of county 1 year Wife Visa

My wife and I fell out she want back home to Belarus. But now we want to get back together. We are on our Frist 2 and half year wife visa. My wife is pregnant she gives birth on 8 May. But by the time she and baby come back she would be out of the UK about 1 year so it depends on have long it take to get the documents for baby but my question is want do I do for next 2 and a half when I apply because you can't be out of the country more than 6 months at a time. What do I do, can you keep applying for wife visa to you get 5 years?
Any advice would be appreciated.

I am British and live in the UK all my life. My Wife is from Belarus and has 2 and half years visa and a residence card.

No it won't.

There is no rule or guidance that states 'there is no absence limit'. The absence limit you are likely thinking about is for a completely different visa category, i.e. 180 days absence.
