FLR M online applicatiion - can anyone spare a moment to help!

Post by ChloeB » Tue Apr 09, 2019 3:21 pm

Hi there,
I'm sorry, as I know this has prob been asked a hundred times before.
Completed our FLR (m) application for my husband to remain in the UK from Jamaica - last time we re-newed it was paper form and felt like I was kinda a pro at doing these.....until the new system took me by surprise this time!

So - we've completed the application online and paid the NHS fee and the visa fee.
What happens now!
1) I have a file of documents to submit, which I had in my mind were 'sent' somewhere - but not sure how they are processed - can anyone help?
2) I thought my husband just went for biometrics testing (for us in Exeter) but not sure if that is the case if the documents need to follow.

I did call the helpdesk but was given pretty short conversation (understandably if I was asking stupid questions!) could someone let me know what we do now it's all paid for etc as my beautiful file of documents is all waiting to go somewhere......anywhere!!

Thank you
Chloe

Did you not get the option to select the service and redirected to UKCVAS system to book an appointment with Sopra Steria??

Your appointment at the new service will include the biometrics enrollment (not testing). You would also be required to upload your supporting documents on the Sopra website once you have booked an appointment.

Hi,

Thanks for replying - no, we weren't redirected - just had a confirmation that the visa application had been submitted.
Would the invitation to upload be when I make the biometics appointment? I haven't made that appointment today as waiting for my husbands roster to choose a day off.

UKVCAS question......

Post by ChloeB » Thu Apr 11, 2019 11:05 am

Hi
Apologies, again I know this has probably been asked. I'm afraid we were very unprepared this time around of renewing visa when the new system took me a bit by surprise!
1) We live in Torquay, Devon and USUALLY we would do my husbands biometrics at Exeter in the post office. Our nearest centre is Taunton with a £60 fee
Do we need to go to a centre now instead of doing it the 'old way', or does it have to be at the office centres?
I think I assumed that I could upload the documents myself on the website and go to the post office for the £19 fee......

Thanks for any help
Chloe

You book an appointment at the UKCVAS Sopra centre and attend on the date booked.

No.
