Are the three of you eligible for PR? If so, you can apply online. Much more straightforward than trying to figure out who should be filling in what section with the 70+ paper application.

Furthermore, keep in mind any PR card will no longer be valid after December 2020, so you will need to apply for Settled status at some point before that date. Or, you could just skip the PR card and apply for Settled Status directly, which is free: https://www.gov.uk/settled-status-eu-citizens-families

Or, you can apply for both, it is entirely up to you.

Hi thanks for your reply. I just applied for settled status and It was written that I am eligible now I am waiting for two weeks to get it. but about my spouse who is non eea in order to apply for him I need to fill eea pr form can't apply Online.
Can you please tell if with settled status document is the document certifying permanent resident ?
Because section 9 they ask does sponsor (me) has document certifying permanent resident than we can go straightforward to end.we will not need to fill so many silly things.
Kind regards

First of all, there are TWO things you are mixing together in your message and I am not sure if you fully understand them. In case not, here it is (sorry if this is clear):

1. Permanent Residence is the status EEA nationals and their non-EU family members acquire after living in the UK and exercising treaty rights for 5 years. This takes the form of a blue cardboard card for the EEA national, and a plastic biometric residence card, for the non-EU national. This will be gradually phased out, and will cease to be valid on December 2020.

2. Settled status is the status EEA nationals and their non-EU family members can acquire after living in the UK for 5 years. This is the new scheme that, after Brexit, will be temporarily available, to help EEA nationals to transition into the UK domestic immigration system. It takes the form of an electronic registry, which is communicated via email, for both EEA nationals and non-EU nationals. Only if the non-EU national does not already have a biometric residence card like the one described above, then they are issued a new biometric car. Otherwise the Settlement scheme is completely digital.

Just to double check: You have already applied for Settled status? Or is it a Permanent Residence card?

I ask because the wording of your sentence is very strange to me. Usually, you get Settled status within 48 hours if you apply through the App. (Not sure about postal applications, but two weeks for EEA nationals seems a bit long of a wait to me: that's typical waiting time for non-EU national who have to enroll biometrics). What takes about a month, and what you could have been waiting for two weeks, is the PR card. That's why I am asking.
but about my spouse who is non eea in order to apply for him I need to fill eea pr form can't apply Online.
She can apply online if you apply yourself as the main applicant, and include her in the application. This is also why I am asking the above. What is it that you have? Settled status or Permanent Residence card?
Can you please tell if with settled status document is the document certifying permanent resident ?
To answer your question, that old form is asking specifically for the Permanent Residence card, the blue cardboard card. Do you have that, yes or no?

I am not sure it makes sense for her to apply for a Permanent Residence card while you have applied for Settled Status. Seems like she can also apply for Settled status too. Why is she applying for PR?
