That's why I am already stressed out and annoyed. Why should I received mine earlier than my husband which is the EU national. We just applied at the same time and both sent our identity document. If only I knew this would cause such stress, I just applied him via App. So annoying.Romy88 wrote: ↑Thu Apr 18, 2019 8:57 pmI got my pre-settled status on the 8th. I applied on 31st of March. Got CoA and status on the same day. I even sent my passport to them, they received it on the 2nd of April. I am a non EU. I got it via email.
How it is possible that Non-EU were granted ILR before their EU spouse/sponsor? It doesn't make any sense to me. I think that the logic and Home Office will never meet![]()
My case is straight forward... 6.2 years in country as a family member ov EU citizen and been working on same place since the week I landed in UK. NINO check and other automated checks confirmed everything. 7 days till I'll complete 5 years on residence card. Wasn't hard to make decision after issuing COA lol.Romy88 wrote: ↑Thu Apr 18, 2019 8:50 pmBunny47 wrote: ↑Thu Apr 18, 2019 3:22 pmNon Eu...... Av called resolution centre yesterday and I was told caseworker have not touched my application since 8th April. That's the date when they issued me COA. I was also told to wait for another week and then I should call them again and ask for the escalation. The guy told me that I still have 80 days on my application..... So I guess HO will process non eu applicants within 3 months or so.![]()
I hope we all will get ILR before we apply for a pension in this country![]()
By the way, I was advised by resolution centre that there is no timescale, each case will be looked at individually.
no worries this page for booking a bio appointment will never change !! however if you contact the resolution center they will tell you that they have got your bio data and if there something more needed they will contact you by email.leucocephulas1 wrote: ↑Sat Apr 20, 2019 12:52 amHey guys,
I am bit confuse. I am a non eu separated (not divorced) family member. I applied for pre settle status online on 8th April i have been asked to upload only marriage certificate, scan passport and proof of residency ( i uploaded bank statement) after that i booked next day appointment for biometric through ukvcas.
Now when i check my application online it still says i need to book biometric appointment but on ukvcas there are already three files uploaded by the staff member of ukvcas.
Question is why on my eu settle status application it still says book appointment for biometrics and also am i the only one or there are others on the same boat?
I have contacted the resolution center today and the funny thing is that, they said if you needed to get your biometric data the processing time for your application is 90 days !! not 9 days as it says on the website, i think we just need to forget about what it says on the websites cause so far there are so many things are not clear and everytime i contact the resolution center i get different answer as they have been instructed to calm us down by any answer!! even if it is not right!!!
Hi Katerina, I think we have exactly the same case ! I am also on tire 4 visa.katerina_k wrote: ↑Sun Apr 21, 2019 2:44 pmHi everyone!
Thought so post about my situation here as well.
My background : currently on Tier 4. Been married to EU national for a bit more than a year. My husband got his settled status during the trial phase.
I applied :30th of March
Biometrics submitted: 4th of April
CoA received : 5th of April.
Status : waiting
Called the resolution centre twice, and the response was pretty generic /not helpful. They said that they got my biometrics and I just need to wait. I also filled an online form and got a reply where they apologised , and said “ Rest assured that we will notify the caseworker of your email and concerns”. But again , no comments as of when I will hear from them about the outcome.
Really hope it’s not gona take 80 days as someone mentioned earlier. Fingers crossed !

Afalimar11 wrote: ↑Tue Apr 23, 2019 11:34 amHi all just thought to share my time line
Was quick 10 days
Am non eu And got a PR biometric card
I applied was quick and easy only submitted my biometric card did not have to do anything or biometric finger prints
And today received my settled status
Good luck every one
Could you please tell where did you find this 'you must send your document by post if you have a BRP'? Because I don't remember reading it anywhere, neither I was asked to post anything after completing my application. I applied using my passport as a document ( I tried using an app to scan my BRP, but it was giving me a mistake. ). I did not post anything, and just showed my passport at the biometrics centre.Ajay8 wrote: ↑Tue Apr 23, 2019 2:46 pmI am confused about something. I am a non-EU family member with a Biometric Residence Permit (BRP) Card. Please note, this is not the Biometric Residence Card (BRC). However, both have biometric chips and both are pink blue-ish cards.
So, on the EU settlement scheme website. It says "you must send your document by post if you have a BRP". I wish I can use the EU Exit app...it will make me feel comfortable...but anyways...
I tried to apply "online and by post" so I am OK with that. I clicked on apply online and when I was clicking next.. Next... I was in front of 2 choices: use a passport or use a UK residence card with a Biometric chip (does it mean BRC or BRP?)
Should I select the second option use the "UK residence card with a Biometric chip" and enter my BRP card number?
But when I emailed the EU resolution centre, they said I can apply online and use the BRP. But when I tried to apply online I don't see a third option like the following:
1. passport
2. UK residence card with biometric chip
3. BRP
I only see option 1 and 2. So I am confused.
1.) Can anyone share the process of application? Anyone who used their BRP to apply "online and post"?
2.) To people who are similar to my case, did you still send in your passport? Because I want to send my BRP only and use my passport at ukvcas to do a new finger print and face photo. I cannot send my passport.
3.) If you enter the details of the document in the beginning of the online application process (like a BRP card), it will be the same document (BRP card) you will send by post..right?
Thank you. Please let me know.

P.S. I hold a Tier 4 BRP and I applied as a spouse
