Private ceremony

What exactly is a private ceremony?
Can you decide the date?
How much extra does it cost?

What exactly is a private ceremony?
Only you attend, takes about 15 minutes and costs extra, i.e. not a group ceremony which you have already paid for.
Can you decide the date?

Depends on the availability of your local council.
How much extra does it cost?
It depends on your council. It is not a HO fee. The councils charge it and it varies greatly, from £150 up to £250.
