Tier 2 ICT visa extension for the period not stayed in UK

Hi Team,

I am a Tier 2 ICT Long term immigrant currently living in UK. I was issued "Tier 2 ICT Long term Visa" for first 3 years with start date: June-2014 and stayed in UK for only 5 months in UK and went back to India. Having spend 18 months in India and retured to UK with the same "CoS and VISA" to work for the same company/Sponsorer. After that my VISA was extedned from UK for next 2 years from 'July-2017' to until 'July-2019'.
Now the question is:
* Will the period that I stayed in-between in India (18 months) can be consided for further extension here in UK..?
* or is there any other way to extend my Visa in order to stay under the same visa category inorder to continue working for the same company/Sponsorer.?

It's the length of time you have held a visa. If your employer did not notify HO to cancel your visa, the all time held would count towards the maximum limit.

Could you also please clarify that after completing 5 years of ICT visa, befroe going into cooling-off period, can the VISA be further extended to immediate 3 more months as a final one time extension.?
