HOW LONG AFTER ILR (WP) BEFORE APPLYING FOR NATURALISATION

I HAVE BEEN IN UK FOR 5 YEARS AND 8 MONTHS ON A WORK PERMIT BASIS. i WAS GRANTED AN ILR ON THE 16th OF JUNE 2008. CAN I APPLY FOR NATURALISATION SINCE IVED BEEN HERE FOR MORE THAN 5 YEARS?
I ARRIVED IN UK NOVEMBER 29 2002 AND I LEFT UK DEC 7,2004 TILL MAY 31,2005. AM I QUALIFIED TO APPLY FOR NATURALISATION?

You will be qualified to apply on or after 17th June 2009.
