Citizenship applying date

Post by khalidhaku » Fri Jun 21, 2019 11:50 am

Dear respected friends,

I have one question is as under:-

My eldest son got his ILR last year on 26 Jul 2018 and now he completed his Naturalization online application. Can he apply on 26 Jun 2019 or after?.

NOTE: Me and my wife and younger son got ILR on 10 Sep 2018.

Please advise.

Thanks & Regard

No. He must wait until at least one full year have passed from his ILR approval date

How old is your elder son?

Note also that he needs the full 12 months on ilr. There is no 28 days early concession for citizenship.
