Online form MN1Our son was born in the UK in 2017 and I think is eligible to apply for British citizenship and passport subsequently (what is the procedure for the same?)
Yes, provided you got ILR based on PBS route and not 10 years long residence.Secondly, can he travel with us on his Indian passport to India for a month and while returning to the UK can we show his pbs dependant child biometric?

I was on Tier 2 (General) got my ILR on 5 year route last week. My son was my dependant on Tier 2 General, we did not apply for his ILR with us because he was born in the uk.
Yes.So he can travel and enter the uk on his pbs biometric right?
You are wrong.I ask because I thought his pbs biometric (when I switched from Tier 2 General to ILR) would become invalid, am I wrong?

HO do actually know the rules for when you return! Many do this type of traveling with PBS Dependents, your case is not unique.Do you have a reference in any policy guidence that I can keep incase the Border agency stop us at the airport at the time of travelling out and then back in.
