It was mentioned on the form as I remember.johnlk wrote: ↑Wed Jun 26, 2019 2:12 pmSo, we just had a call from UKVI.
I was told my wife's proof of residency in the UK for the past 5 years that I had submitted with her application was fine, but I had not enclosed any proof I had been here too. I can't remember seeing anything about this on the form, so I didn't enclose anything.
I gave my National Insurance number to the caseworker, which once checked will show my proof, he said he will do the check and if ok will get the card issued.
"A couple of days" was mentioned so let's wait and see....
Great, congratulations.johnlk wrote: ↑Wed Jun 26, 2019 2:23 pmProbably one hour later the same guy has called.
He's checked my history through my National Insurance number, is satisfied with the result and has granted my wife ILR.
He'll send back all the documents we supplied with the application, and another department will be sending out the card, "within the week".
Hopefully some of you others have had calls today too.
Must have been in a rush to have got the form off to them.ellyell wrote: ↑Wed Jun 26, 2019 2:20 pmIt was mentioned on the form as I remember.johnlk wrote: ↑Wed Jun 26, 2019 2:12 pmSo, we just had a call from UKVI.

proof of 5 year continuous residency for both (applicant and qualifying British citizen)
Yes, I am the BC. I submitted evidence of my work in another EU state, marriage certificate and translation, and proof of my non-EU wife's time in the UK.
On my Surinder Singh forum, there have been 18 people who have received their status in the last two weeks. Three for settled status and fifteen for pre-settled!!
2717, the majority of them are asked when they join the group what stage they are at in the visa process, we require that they are either already in the UK, having exercised their treaty rights already, or that they are still in the host EEA country and about to return to the UK. It's mainly Surinder Singhers but there are some European nationals and their partners on the forum too, so that will swell the numbers beyond just Surinder Singhers. Not all of the members are active of course, we have a core group of a couple of hundred who post or comment regularly I guess, I'm not sure how to count it so I'm estimating it.
They still (resolution centre) keep saying I will receive a COA email first.NatCam wrote: ↑Tue Jul 02, 2019 11:45 amI got all my documents today and a letter stating that I had been granted a pre-settled status.
30 days from start to finish.
Although I already had a residence card, it still took them 4 weeks to decide.
They didn't bother to send an e-mail, so, those of you who are waiting for an e-mail confirmation - please stop worrying.
All the best to all of you.
Hi, did you have to get biometrics again?NatCam wrote: ↑Tue Jul 02, 2019 11:45 amI got all my documents today and a letter stating that I had been granted a pre-settled status.

You then say over 2700 members not all Singhers, so of the 18 with decisions how many are Singhers?kiwigoldilox wrote: ↑Tue Jul 02, 2019 6:39 amOn my Surinder Singh forum, there have been 18 people who have received their status in the last two weeks.
