Date of application

Hello everyone,

I had a quick question with regards to the naturalisation application online. I complete one year of ILR on 20th August and am eligible to apply for naturalisation from that point onwards. When I apply using the online form, does it take the date of application to be the day the online form is submitted or would it be the day I attend the appointment and provide my documents + biometrics etc.?

Date of application is the date you submit and pay online and not the date of your ukcvas appointment.
