Hi guys, I hope you can help me with issues regarding decision on my 3rd extension as 10 year partner route. The decision letter states that i’m on a 5 year partner route and eligible for ILR after living lawfully for 5 more years. My previous two extensions were a 10 year route and my 10 years in U.K. will complete in November 2019.
1. Would this new decision complicate things? Or can I still apply for long residence after completing my 10 years? Should I challenge this decision or let it be?
2. My visa expired on 29/04/2019 and I applied online and submitted my application on 28/04/2019 but couldn’t find a UKVCAS appointment until June which was well within the timeframe suggested by HO. Now my BRP date of issue is 28/06/2019, shouldn’t it be dated from the day my visa expired to show continuity? Shall I challenge it as a mistake in my BRP?
I would appreciate any sort of advice from your personal experience or knowledge. Many thanks.
A quick history: came to U.K. as student dependent in November 2009, had one renewal in the same category before spouse was granted ILR on 10 years route. My solicitor applied my visa through FLRO, which got refused, went through judicial review, out of court settlement led to 10 year partner route granted in 2014. And this is my third extension granting me a 5 year partner route now.
