Biometric letter for BC application

Hello ,
Again am posting on behalf of my friend .
Today she submitted her BC application ( on line ) and she printed the checking list ( there is a barcode on the right top of the checking list ) and she upload all her documents already But she didn’t book appointment yet :
The question is : when she is going to receive the biometric letter ? After she book the appointment with the appointment confirmation ? And how she will receive it By email or by post ?

She doesn't get a biometric letter. Biometrics are done as part of the appointment process.

Another question. Did she need to date the referee documents after they sign it ? If yes is the date should be before or after the application submission date ?
