Still waiting for a decision?

Post by xzaf » Sat Aug 17, 2019 12:41 am

Hi
logging on behalf of a friend. her husband submitted the application on the 11th May 2019 and the Biometric was done on the 16th May 2019 in Pakistan. she is the sponsor in UK.

An email was received on 31st July, stating Unfortunately, the processing of your application has not been straightforward....

It is now well over 3 months what could be taking so long..? I have read another message on here about getting married at 18yrs the home office do more checks? she was also 18 yrs and 8 months old when she got married.

does anyone have any ideas what checks they do and how long it will take or can she contact home office to check status of application?

Thank you.

Please post in the topic above. We don't need another 'still waiting' thread. Many are waiting more than 120 working days.
