With the new system, you are not required to submit travel documents. All you submit is scanned copies and UKVCAS verifies and returns your originals.Hussy wrote: ↑Fri Aug 30, 2019 7:45 pmHi I have recently applied for naturalisation and my current travel document was not taken from me. I thought it should have been taken and you would need to ask for it back if you need to travel
I would like to know if that was the correct procedure and also if I can travel and if I need to let the home office know I will be traveling for a week
Thank you
Your ILR BRP, Your current & expired Home Office Travel documents are enough. Your home country passport will be with Home Office anyways?Hussy wrote: ↑Fri Aug 30, 2019 8:53 pmThank you, i have another question please let me know if I need to open a separate thread

Yes you need LIUK and English Requirement also.
Hope you know that you can only apply minimum 12 months after ILR unless your married to a British.
Thats fine. You are already eligible from 23/8/19. Date of application is the day you pay and submit that is today.Hussy wrote: ↑Fri Aug 30, 2019 9:45 pmI got my my ILD on 24 aug 2018 and I submitted my application today but I started filling it up a month ago I hope that doest mattertier11417 wrote: ↑Fri Aug 30, 2019 8:58 pmYour ILR BRP, Your current & expired Home Office Travel documents are enough.
