Already called ukvi, local uk embassy, email university but none is working. Ukvi said they escalated but that was already 2 weeks ago.

Did you apply for standard or priority? For standard, it is not 15 working days yet.

For priority, I'm not so sure.

Standard. But I need to know how long it’s taking other people to get their visas these days. I applied a few years ago and I received my visa within a week.

4 july - appointmemt at vfs and biometric
4 July- email confirmation from sheffield
19 aug - email enquiry. They escalated the case on same day but say will take up to 15 work days
26 aug - call them and they say still processing
28 aug - my university adviser email them. No reply yet
2 sep - call them and they say still processing

Anyway I think the Sheffield email can take a few days sometimes. Sometimes people get on the same day, like myself. However some people who receive Sheffield email later than me already got their visa. Does not seem to make much difference.

SMS from VFS stating GWF was forwarded to UKVI: 26/08

Applied from kuwait! Anyone here who have used Priority service before? Stressed out so I'd like to know the timeline for Priority services.

Got an SMS to collect my passport and received my visa on 3rd September.

I have the same dates but I’m applying from lebanon . I asked my university about the CAS status they said (On our system the status of the CAS is currently showing as assigned, not used.) what they mean by this

hey. dont be down alright. I dont even know whats going to happen to my visa as well as I am actually applying for a new tier 4 visa after I withdrew from my previous uni. hope you get your CAS soon. What I feel like you should do is to keep chasing and calling them. do keep me updated kay!

Thanks! I manage to get hold of my school's adviser to chase for me. They sound promising so I'm waiting for their update.

I get this email
Assigned is what your CAS status is currently, when you have your visa it will be marked as used . Why you don’t get it until now?

CAS is one time use
I didn't get it because of courier issues

Standard application is 15 working days and according to the date you submitted your application,it’s not yet 15 working days.

Standard service
7th of Aug (Biometric at Abu Dabi vfs)
8th of Aug (received an email from Sheffield decision making center that they received my online application)
2nd of Sep (Phone call credibility interview)

and now I am waiting for the decision
