Family Dependant

Post by chubbydol » Mon Sep 23, 2019 10:49 am

Hi

I came to the UK in 2009.
This year I was suppose to apply for 10 years ILR permit, but due to my break for more than 180 days back in 2012, I have been suggested not to apply for 10 years ILR permit now.

My sister has just got her ILR permit.
1. Can I go on her dependant until I again reach my 10 years in 2022 ?
2. If so, what is the procedure please.

Hi CR001

Thanks for your reply. Can you please further explain me why can I not even be on her dependant visa, as she is my blood sister ?

The UK does not permit chain migration. She is unable to sponsor you for a visa as you are an adult.
