Is my accountant recognised /Spouse ILR/Self employment?

Hello everyone

My wife ILR is due after completion of 5 years on spouse visa. Long waited time has come but brought some confusion as well.Now going back to the point, I have been self-employed for the last 7 years as a sole trader. My accountant is a full member of AAT (Association of Accounting Technicians). I would like to know whether she is qualified to certify my unaudited accounts of self-employment for the Home Office. Is AAT recognised by the home office? I would be grateful for any reply or advice from anyone.
